further and straighter. The ball leaves the club at a lower launch
angle for greater distance.
The TiSI Tec fairway woods utilize Ping's Chemical Milling Technology
to remove the alpha layer from the casting and precisely control
club head wall thickness. These woods also feature trapezoid-shaped
weight pads cast onto the zirconium soleplate and a tungsten bottom
weight.
This technology and choice of materials allows PING to incorporate
progressive weight pad placement into the design of these fairway
woods and fine-tune the spin and lift characteristics of the golf
ball based on the loft of the wood.
There is very little to be said that is not good about this range
of driver, except some golfers who said that they battled to control
the ball when using a softer graphite shaft. The other complaint
was that the factory grip was not terribly great.
